    Visitors are invited to view the Kaiwo Maru from the dock, a rare opportunity to see one of the world’s most iconic tall ships up close.

  • The City of Richmond is committed to delivering environmentally responsible events, ensuring future generations experience the same sense of community enjoyed today. The Ships to Shore festival follows the recommendations set by the Richmond Sustainable Event initiative.

    Attendees are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles and containers and dispose of waste properly using on-site sorting stations.

    Additional sustainability initiatives and event features include:

    Compostable, environmentally-friendly wooden cutlery will be mandatory for all food options

    Richmond’s Green Ambassadors will be on-site to support proper waste disposal
